Application Description

OnymaAppCode is a corporate application used by authorized Onyma personnel to manage operational processes between operators and supervisors.

The app enables user authentication, scanning and validation of operational codes (including QR codes), viewing request details, and preparing an SMS message to the selected supervisor, with the option to choose the phone number from the user’s personal contact list after authorization.

Depending on the assigned role, the app provides specific functionalities for operators or supervisors, allowing request management, data verification, and operational status updates.

OnymaAppCode also serves as the operational extension of the Genyx software, marketed by Onyma SRL, enhancing its capabilities as an automation and security optimization tool. The app supports the authentication of tasks and operations generated by Genyx through an additional verification step performed by authorized supervisors, ensuring greater traceability and protection of corporate processes.

The app works entirely offline.
It does not use the internet, does not communicate with external servers, and does not perform cloud synchronization. The only interaction with the mobile network is opening the device’s SMS application to allow the user to send the message manually.

Data Processed

OnymaAppCode processes only the data strictly necessary for its operation:

• Identification data (username, locally managed password).
• Operational data (request code, plant code, function code, timestamp, outcome).
• Phone contact data selected by the user solely for SMS composition.
• Minimal technical data required for app functionality and error handling.

The application does not collect or use unnecessary data, including:

• IP addresses;
• geolocation or position data;
• biometric data;
• sensitive or judicial data;
• browsing history;
• full contact list (only the selected number is used);
• network or internet connection data.

The app does not send SMS automatically. SMS sending is always manually confirmed by the user through the device’s SMS application.

Legal Basis and Purposes

Data processing is carried out:

• for the performance of employment or collaboration contracts;
• for internal organizational and operational requirements;
• for managing operational authorization requests;
• to ensure security, traceability, and proper functioning of corporate processes.

Processing Methods

Data is processed exclusively on the user’s device using offline electronic tools, in compliance with principles of minimization, integrity, confidentiality, and storage limitation.

Device Permissions

The app requires:

• Camera access for QR code scanning;
• Contacts access to allow the user to select a phone number for SMS sending.

SMS and Contact Data

OnymaAppCode:

• allows the user to select a phone number from the contact list;
• generates the SMS content;
• opens the device’s SMS application for manual sending.

Data Storage

Data is stored locally on the device for the time necessary to fulfill operational purposes, in accordance with Onyma SRL’s internal policies. No data is transmitted to external servers or cloud services.

Data Sharing

Data may be shared only with:

• authorized internal personnel;
• IT service providers acting as Data Processors.

International Transfers

The app does not transfer data outside the EU/EEA. All data remains stored on the user’s device.

Data Subject Rights
